On est en 1946. Louis Perrot est un jeune homme passionné par la couleur. Il ouvre un atelier de fabrication de peintures et d’enduits pour les artisans peintres, rue Jules Vallès à Paris. Louis Perrot se bâtit très vite une réputation d’excellent coloriste. Il conseille les peintres en bâtiment et le Tout Paris dans le choix de leurs couleurs de peintures. Il se forge aussi une belle réputation à l’étranger : ses couleurs symbolisent l’Art de vivre à la Française. Perrot & Compagnie renait en 2019 sous le nom de son fondateur en proposant des peintures très haut de gamme, fabriquées exclusivement en France.

The year is 1946. Louis Perrot is a young man with a passion for colour. He opened a workshop for the manufacture of paints and coatings for craftsmen in rue Jules Vallès in Paris. Louis Perrot quickly built a reputation as an excellent colourist. He advised building painters and the whole of Paris in their choice of paint colours. He also built up a fine reputation abroad: his colours symbolised the French art of living. Perrot & Compagnie was reborn in 2019 under the name of its founder, offering very high quality paints, made exclusively in France.
